- Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4pm
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operations of our small manufacturing company. Your responsibilities will include managing front desk duties, handling inventory-related tasks, and providing essential support to the company controller.
- Front Desk Operations:** Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and provide excellent customer service to clients, suppliers, and employees.
- Inventory Management:** Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Order Processing:** Assist in processing purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement of materials and supplies.
- Data Entry:** Input inventory data, sales transactions, and other relevant information into the company’s database.
- Assist Company Controller:** Collaborate closely with the company controller to handle administrative tasks, financial data entry, and basic bookkeeping.
- Communication:** Effectively communicate with various departments to ensure efficient coordination of tasks and information sharing.
- Document Management:** Organize and maintain important documents, invoices, and records related to inventory and front desk activities.
- Problem Solving:** Identify and address any discrepancies in inventory records and assist in finding solutions to logistical challenges.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent:** Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is a plus. 3-4 years accounting experience is required.
- Organizational Skills:** Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
- Communication Skills:** Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Tech-Savvy:** Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and other relevant software.
- Team Player:** Willingness to collaborate with various departments and contribute to the overall success of the company.
- Problem Solving:** Demonstrated ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and work towards resolutions.
- Adaptability:** Flexible approach to handling diverse tasks and adapting to evolving company needs.
- Prior Experience:** Prior experience in front desk operations, inventory management, or administrative roles is advantageous.
