Location: Pulaski, WI
Wage: $15-18/hour
Hours: Mon-Thur 5a-3:30p, OT on Fridays
Responsibilities:
Populate Surface mount and thru whole parts into a circuit board by following “Bill of Materials” or manual procedures. Hand solder using solder iron/de-soldering tool or Selective Solder machine. Program IC chips or circuit boards to correct game and test for correct function.
- Work with small parts, stuffing them into circuit boards following manual procedures Responsible for pulling parts required for each job
- Melt and apply solder using a soldering iron/portable hand torch to multiple surface types
- Clean workpieces using a chemical solution
- Clean tip of soldering iron using a chemical solution
- Run the Selective Solder equipment by changing PCB programs
- Clean, set up and maintain Selective solder equipment following a schedule
- Close attention to detail with very small electrical components
- Test circuit boards and troubleshoot problems
- Able to work on your own with limited supervision
- Actively participate in the Continuous Improvement process
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Knowledge of soldering and electrical components preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Travel Requirements: Very Minimal
- Regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel very small parts and reach with hands and arms
- Frequently required to stand; walk and talk or hear
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus

- Manufacturing environment
- Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock
