IQ is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily production and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for staging materials, managing inventory, operating forklifts, and ensuring production teams are consistently supplied with the correct materials. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Hours:
- 1 shift: 5:00am to 3:00pm; Monday to Thursday
- 2 shift: 3:00pm to 1:00am; Monday to Thursday
Pay: $18/hr
Duties and Responsibilities
- Stage jobs and prepare materials for production
- Weigh pallets and accurately record weights and quantities
- Pull stock and deliver materials to production areas as needed
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Pick up and deliver containers to support production operations
- Report inventory shortages, overages, or discrepancies promptly
- Attach accurate weight and quantity documentation to containers after packing
- Ensure production personnel are supplied with materials at all times
- Perform inventory management tasks, including tracking and data entry
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
- Maintain forklift certification and participate in required training
Qualifications
- Forklift certification required
- Ability to type and accurately enter data into computer systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills and ability to use calculators and computers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
