Location: Green Bay, WI
Wage: $17-20/hr
Hours:
- 1st Shift – 6am – 2pm, Monday to Friday
- 2nd shift – 2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday – eligible for $3.00 shift differentiated
- 3rd shift – 10pm – 6am, Sunday to Thursday – eligible for $3.00 shift differentiated
Responsibilities:
Primary purpose of this role is to assist with operating bindery equipment to process finished printed products. This will be floor and handwork to join our team on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift away has one of the most technologically advanced finishing operations in the industry. Primary purpose of this role is to assist with operating bindery equipment to process finished printed products. This will be floor and handwork to join our team on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift away has one of the most technologically advanced finishing operations in the industry. - Tend one or more machines and performs any combination of following duties involving binding books, magazines, etc.
- Punch holes in sheets using punch press
- Feed sheets into various machines for stitching, folding, and binding
- Remove, stack and pack printed material in various stages of completion as they accumulate on the delivery table of the machine
- Examine stitched or bound material to assure that pages or signatures are bound in numerical order according to job ticket
- Examine for defects such as ink spots, torn or loose and uneven pages
- Insert illustrated pages or extra sheets into catalogs or directories by machine
Requirements:
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Pass math and ruler test
- Pass problem-solving test
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Interpret and follow directions with precision
- Computer skills for job detail input and machine operation
- Excellent collaborative skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Detail oriented
- Prior bindery experience preferred
- Frequently required to talk or hear.
- Constantly required to stand; walk; and use hands to handle, feel or touch
- Occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; use foot/feet to operate equipment
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Constantly lift to 10 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Frequently move pallets of material with pallet mover
