HR Generalist

• Eligible for annual pay increase
• Target bonus – 10%. This is based on companywide performance
• FT benefits after working 30 days of employment, following the 1^st of the month

• Recruiting
• Out on the floor interacting with employees, leads, and supervisors so they will need to be comfortable with the conditions and ok working in the cold, the heat, and walking on the slippery floors
• Eventually they want to move all of their onboarding process on site and this person will be in charge of that
• In charge of payroll
• Doing employee relations
  • Helping organize their picnic that is coming up July 15^th and forming committees to complete different tasks for the picnic
  • In charge of the recognition programs and arranging meals/snacks that are provided as rewards for different things such as “start of the month” “star of the quarter” and “x amount of days injury free”

Requirements:

• The ability to learn new tasks
• Understand the demeanor of the employees
• Able to work in their environment (hot, cold, slippery floors)
• 1-2 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment. It is more of an entry level position
• Strong understanding of confidentiality
• Ideally bilingual English/Spanish
• In person position – NO HYBRID OR REMOTE WORK
