Location: Green Bay, WI
Wage: $18/hr
Hours:
- 1st- 5:50 am – 2 pm M-F
- 2nd- 1:50 pm – 10 pm M-F – must train on 1st 5:50 am – 2 pm
- 3rd 9:30 pm – 6 am Sun-Th – must train on 1st 5:50 am – 2 pm
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets at Level I standards for one or more machine styles
- Perform minor machine adjustments
- Perform minor equipment repair
- Pack finished product
- Maintain established Quality standards
- Inspect and examine bags/pouches for defects and non-conformances
- Measure product to customer specifications
- Proper packing quantities are fulfilled
- Work with Quality team for non-conformances
- Troubleshoot a process or machine concern and communicate resolutions
- Accurately document and complete necessary forms
- Work with multiple teams/departments
- Maintain a clean work area
- Follow all manufacturing safety and food safety regulations
- Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed
Requirements:
- The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos is required.
- The ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written materials is essential.
- The ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees and others is necessary.
- This position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in common units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- The ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs is required.
- The ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form is needed.
- The ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations is required.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. Three to five years of experience is required.
