- Monday-Friday 6am-2pm
Responsibilities:
To perform offset printing functions on assigned press within predetermined time frames. To be the shift focal point of communication relative to productivity, quality, and raw material usage on assigned equipment. Works as a team with Press Operators and put an emphasis on productivity, quality, safety and good housekeeping.

- Secure printing plates to printing units and adjust tolerances.
- Obtain or mix inks and fill ink fountains
- Start presses and pull proofs to check for ink coverage and density, alignment, and registration
- Clean ink fountains, plates, or printing unit cylinders when press runs are completed
- Collect and inspect random samples during print runs to identify any necessary adjustments
- Control workflow scheduling or job tracking, using computer database software
- Aids in controlling costs through effective material usage.
- Works with fellow employees to develop skills that will aid in the reduction of raw material usage.
- Provides feedback to Press Team Lead /Press Supervisor on opportunities for improvement within the scope of his/her manufacturing process.
- Maintains records of daily production on specified form
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, follow direction and make critical decisions
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
- Basic mathematical skills
- Frequently required to talk or hear.
- Constantly required to stand; walk; and use hands to handle, feel or touch
- Occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; use foot/feet to operate equipment
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Constantly lift to 10 pounds
- Constantly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally move pallets of material with pallet mover
