IQ Resource Group is hiring for Shipping/Receiving and Final Assembly positions in Saint Cloud, Minnesota!
The job of the Shipping position was established for the purpose of processing incoming and outgoing shipments.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm and Friday 6:00am-10:00am
Location: Saint Cloud, MN
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 to start
Prepare and organize outgoing shipments:
- Inspect outgoing shipment for defects.
- Compare the outgoing shipment contents with work order.
- Sign off on work order when shipment leaves.
- Package outgoing products prior to shipment using packing tools.
- Confirm proper wrapping of materials prior to shipment.
- Send back items to appropriate department if damaged.
- Supervise the loading of finished products into trailers.
- Load trailer with outgoing items using manual labor.
Process incoming shipments
- Count incoming items according to invoice.
- Examine invoices for accuracy.
- Compare incoming shipment materials with invoice and work orders.
- Deliver or route materials to departments using forklift.
- Supervise the unloading of incoming materials from trailers.
Communicate with employees from other departments
- Answer workorder questions from Installers, Project Managers, and Drafters.
- Coordinate delivery of items with Installers, Project managers, and Drafters.
- Confer with supervisors to coordinate operations and activities between departments.
- Provide shipping/receiving information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Confer with project managers on current inventory.
Managing shipment information
- Prepare list of outgoing shipments for the next day.
- Record shipment data using computer.
- Manage delivery schedule by importance.
- Maintain safety rules and regulations.
- Estimate the amounts, types, or costs of needed materials.
Requirements:
- Performing general physical activities – perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving your whole body such as lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials
