IQ Resource Group is seeking a reliable and flexible Tooling Assistant / Floater in Elk River, Minnesota!
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 6:00am–4:30pm
Friday: 6:00am–12:00pm
Pay:
$20.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in hands-on work, and is willing to step in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manual lathe and mill equipment
- Assist with tooling rework, straightening, and repairs
- Support tooling and shop floor needs as assigned
- Perform general shop-related tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Experience operating manual lathes and mills could be helpful, but will train
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong reliability and attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible mindset and readiness to help where needed
