Finishing Operators

Shift:

• 1st shift: 6am-2pm Monday- Friday
• 2nd shift: 2pm-12am, Monday-Thursday
• *Possible overtime and work up to 12 hours

Wage:

• 1st shift: $15.50/hour
• 2nd shift: $15.85/hour

Position Responsibilities:

• Operation and set up of various finishing machines including knotters, loopers, wire, enveloper, stitcher, shrink wrapper, and fan folding.
• Read and utilize information on job jackets to complete orders to customer specifications.
• Label and mark finished product (boxes, cartons, skids) in a clear concise manner according to written specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Position Qualifications:

• Ability to distinguish various shades of color.
• Ability to read and understand basic written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read a ruler
• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Mechanical aptitude

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for 8-12 hours.
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to display finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to complete tasks, which require repetitive motion. (I.e. fan folding, twisting and bending wire. Physically grasping, reaching, bending, and lifting.)
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that includes dust, noise and working with solvents.
