Position: Machine Operator
Location: Green Bay, WI
Schedule & Pay:
2nd Shift – Monday through Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm
Starting Pay: $20.65 per hour
($19.00/hour + $1.65/hour shift premium upon transfer)
3rd Shift – Sunday through Thursday, 10:00pm–6:00am
Starting Pay: $20.65 per hour
($19.00/hour + $1.65/hour shift premium upon transfer)
Job Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for efficiently producing a quality product according to customer specifications. This role supports continuous improvement efforts related to workmanship standards, operating procedures, and safety initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
- Perform minor machine adjustments and minor equipment repairs
- Pack finished product and ensure proper quantities
- Inspect bags/pouches for defects and non-conformances
- Measure product to customer specifications
- Work closely with the Quality team regarding non-conformances
- Troubleshoot machine or process concerns and communicate resolutions
- Accurately complete and document required paperwork
- Communicate important information to the next shift
- Participate in addressing operational challenges and improvements
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company quality, operational, HR, safety, and housekeeping policies
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Three (3) years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
