Mechanical Assembler – 1st Shift
We are hiring a Mechanical Assembler to support a growing manufacturing facility. This position plays a key role in supporting production flow by bending and preparing materials to meet specifications and requires hands-on experience with measuring tools and interpreting assembly drawings. This is a fast-paced, production-driven environment where accuracy and consistency are key.
Location: Appleton, WI
Pay: $18/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm (overtime as needed)
Job Duties:
- Operate pipe bending equipment to shape materials to specification
- Read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions
- Accurately measure materials using tape measures and calipers
- Perform basic mechanical assembly and support production needs
- Maintain steady workflow to support production targets
- Inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy
Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand basic assembly drawings
- Ability to read and use a tape measure and calipers accurately
- General mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
