IQ Resource Group is hiring Turret Operator/Fabricators for a growing manufacturing facility in Blaine, MN
Schedule- Monday-Friday 6:00am-4:30pm (With start and end time flexibility) AND Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:30pm depending on needs!
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 an hour depending on prior experience.
This role is responsible for producing metal parts to customer specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate turret press and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, job cards, and work instructions.
- Position and secure materials using fixtures, jigs, and machine controls.
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers, gauges, rulers, and other precision tools.
- Identify and report quality issues or parts that do not meet specifications.
- Complete inspection records, check sheets, and production paperwork.
- Maintain production rates while producing defect-free parts.
- Assist with machine setups, troubleshooting, and operator training depending on experience level.
- Communicate production, quality, safety, and inventory concerns to supervisors.
- Support continuous improvement and waste reduction efforts.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Operator Experience as welll as set-up experience.
- At least 1 year of manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow written work instructions.
- Basic math skills required; algebra and geometry knowledge preferred for advanced operators.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with fabrication equipment is a plus.
- Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges preferred.
- Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
