We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 1st and 3rd Shift Die Cast Utility to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the die casting process by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various machinery used in metal fabrication.
Location: Germantown, WI
Shift:
- 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm plus overtime as scheduled.
- 3rd Shift Monday-Friday 11pm-7am plus overtime as scheduled.
Pay: Starting $23+ hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications.
Duties
- Install and remove tooling in die casting machines
- Produce good casting samples for Quality Control to approve production
- Assist with process adjustments to maintain/improve casting quality
- Change cores, shot rods, shot tips, spray guns
- Furnace tending and metal transfers
- Material handling
- Relief operator
- Help facilitate the start of the shift
Requirements
- Some prior manufacturing experience in a factory environment
- Die casting or foundry experience would be beneficial
- Ability to stand, lift and work in varying temperatures
- Attention to detail and working safely is very important
- Willingness to learn, follow the directions of a supervisor, and work cooperatively with other team members
- A positive attitude and regular and punctual attendance is required
