Shift: 2nd
Pay: $23-41/hr depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding machines, automation, grinders, dryers, and auxiliary equipment.
- Tear down, inspect, rebuild, and overhaul machines and problem components.
- Diagnose electrical and electronic faults, including microprocessor controls.
- Service robotics, hoists, and material handling.
- Keep plant systems running and complete preventive maintenance.
- Work from drawings and use precision tools.
Skills
- 2 to 5 years in manufacturing.
- Pneumatics, grinders, dryers, and auxiliary equipment around a press.
- Robotics, hoists, and material-handling equipment.
- Plant systems: plumbing, HVAC, ventilation, exhaust, air compressors.
- Welding, electronics, or machine shop time.
- Reads drawings and uses calipers and micrometers.
- Preventive maintenance, not only breakdown work.
- High school or equivalent. Associate or bachelor is preferred, not required. Any certification helps the pay.
- GMP, ISO 13485, or FDA plant time.
- Will gown up where the area requires it.
- Can stand and walk for a shift. Occasional heavy lift, up to 100 pounds of force. Heat, chemicals, and noise are normal.
