IQ Resource Group is hiring for a Carpenter and Carpenter Apprentice in the Anoka/Ramsey area!
Schedule– Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm (End time is approximate as it depends on completion)
Pay: $18.00 an hour for Apprentice (less than 2 years experience) AND $20.00-$25.00 an hour (more than 2 years experience)
Position Summary for Carpenter/Carpenter Apprentice: As a member of the Carpentry Team, you will work directly side by side with a Certified Carpenter at job sites, homes and commercial job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Perform fabrication
- Construction
- Installation and repairs of structural woodwork and wood products by following blueprints, drawings, etc.
- Use of hand or power tools and appropriate equipment.
- Measuring shaping and cutting material.
- Ensures quality inspection of finish carpentry work.
Requirements for Carpenter/Carpenter Apprentice:
- Construction terminology is preferred
- Candidate must have carpentry experienced and or must be able to perform basic carpentry skills
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be available for occasional overtime, sometimes on an emergency basis.
- Must be able to work in a team setting
- 40+ hours per week
