Our client in Beloit is seeking a talented CNC professional to join their growing team on 1st shift. Pay: $24.00 – $35.00/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Occasional Saturdays based on workload. Overtime available and may be required.
Position Overview
Our client specializes in precision machining and tooling and is looking for an experienced CNC Operator/Programmer to program, set up, and operate CNC equipment while maintaining high quality standards and production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate multiple brands of CNC equipment
- Machine precision piece parts according to engineering prints and specifications
- Manage multiple tooling and machining projects simultaneously
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain tooling, equipment, and organized work areas
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience
- CNC programming experience required
- Proficiency with GibbsCAM or equivalent CAM software
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Experience with horizontal and vertical turning centers
- Lathe live tooling experience is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
