IQ Resource Group is seeking a Die Cast Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in a hands-on production role. This position involves operating manual or automatic high-pressure die casting machines to produce brass and aluminum castings.
Manufacturing experience is preferred, but die casting or foundry experience is not required. If you’re dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn, this could be a great opportunity to grow your manufacturing skills.
Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 7am-3pm plus overtime as scheduled
Key Responsibilities
- Operate die casting machines and inspect castings for defects.
- Apply die release using a hand sprayer.
- Clean and maintain dies through wire wheeling and polishing.
- Remove excess material and flash from castings during production.
- Assist with machine setups and tooling changes.
- Tend furnaces and handle materials as needed.
- Follow work instructions and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or factory experience preferred.
- Die casting or foundry experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.
- Willingness to learn new processes and follow supervisor direction.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and work in varying temperatures.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
