IQ Resource Group is seeking a Die Cast Utility team member to support daily production operations in a growing manufacturing environment. This hands-on role assists with multiple aspects of the die casting process to keep production running efficiently and maintain product quality.
This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position that requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work well with a team. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, with die casting or foundry experience considered a plus.
Pay: Starting $23+ hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications.
Shift:
- 1st shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm plus overtime as scheduled.
- 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11pm plus overtime as scheduled
Key Responsibilities
- Install and remove tooling in die casting machines.
- Produce casting samples for Quality Control approval before production begins.
- Assist with process adjustments to maintain and improve casting quality.
- Change cores, shot rods, shot tips, and spray guns.
- Tend furnaces and transfer molten metal.
- Handle materials as needed to support production.
- Provide relief coverage for machine operators.
- Assist with starting up production at the beginning of each shift.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or factory experience preferred.
- Die casting or foundry experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Willingness to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and work in varying temperatures.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
