Role: Inventory Coordinator
Type: Direct Hire
Wage: $20 an hour
Location: Bear Creek, WI
Shift:
2nd shift: 5pm- 1:30am Monday—Friday
3rd shift: 10pm-6:30am Monday—Friday
Summary:
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring inventory integrity across all warehouses and production locations. This role plays a critical part in supporting operations by performing inventory counts, investigating variances, validating lot codes, and coordinating closely with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory flow and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts across all Bear Creek production facilities and warehouses
- Investigate, document, and resolve inventory variances, including verification of quantities, lot codes, and usage accuracy
- Prepare and submit inventory variance and reconciliation reports in a timely manner
- Review receiving, delivery, and production documentation for accuracy, including item quantities and lot traceability
- Enter and maintain accurate inventory data in the company’s ERP, including status changes
- Support inventory audits and support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control
- Collaborate with production leads/supervisors on inventory transactions and trainings
- Operate warehouse equipment (such as forklifts) as needed to support inventory counts and verification activities
- Perform additional inventory or operational tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in supply chain, logistics, or business preferred
- Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and follow through on resolution
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP or inventory systems preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified may be required
