IQ Resource Group is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Mechanic on 1st shift in Janesville, WI!
Pay: $27–$33 per hour, negotiable based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hour shift with start time between 4am-9am. Start time is negotiable with what works for you!
Weekly hours: 40–45 hours
Paid on-call rotation: Approximately 7–14 hours per week (only $1/hr. but if the employee is called in the employee will be paid for a minimum of 2 hours even if here less time).
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain machinery used in molding and trimming processes
- Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including:
- Control circuits
- Schematics
- Industrial processes
- Support preventive maintenance initiatives using CMMS
- Collaborate with production and maintenance team members to improve efficiency and safety
- Assist with installation and modification of equipment as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical background with high mechanical aptitude
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and heat exchange units
- Welding experience
Work Environment – Employees will regularly be exposed to:
- High heat
- Rubber particles and rubber dust
- Sulfur, fragrance oil, and latex
