We are looking for a dependable Extrusion Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position responsible for setting up and operating plastic extrusion equipment, monitoring production, and ensuring products meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate thermoplastic extruders and supporting equipment.
- Monitor the extrusion process and make adjustments when needed.
- Identify and correct equipment or production issues.
- Use precision measuring tools to check product quality and specifications.
- Perform required testing and accurately record production and quality information.
- Handle and schedule materials throughout the production process.
- Report equipment problems and production concerns to supervisors or team leaders.
- Monitor processes and look for ways to improve quality, efficiency, and production.
- Participate in team projects and continuous improvement activities.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience operating extrusion equipment is preferred.
- Ability to learn and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Hours:
· 3rd shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am; Sunday to Thursday
Pay:
· $24.75
