IQ Resource Group is hiring a 1st shift Inventory Controller in Sheboygan, WI. The Inventory Controller is responsible for the control, accuracy, and documentation of inventory in order to support the successful project completion within the defined schedule.
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm
Pay: $19-$28 an hour
Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions of the Job:
- Ensures accurate inventory of raw material, manufactured and commercial parts according to organizational rules and philosophies
- Conduct regular inventory analysis to resolve inventory problems
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures
- Coordinate and manage weekly physical cycle counts
- Assist the purchasing department with returning excess inventory.
- Control of purchase to paint to shelf inventory
- Participates in selection, and training of warehouse subordinates
- Maintain good working relationships with other supervisors, peers, and the public.
- Provide oversite to the change management process
- Participate in and/or lead continuous improvement projects
Occasional Job Responsibilities:
- Support the movement of inventory in and out of inventory managed areas
Job Requirements:
- Experience or education generally equivalent to High School diploma.
- 2 to 3 years of experience preferred.
- Requires the ability to learn Joa internal ERP System.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with multiple departments and disciplines.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings.
- Good problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work with interruptions and pursue several duties simultaneously
- Must be able to collaborate with others (including in person) to proactively develop solutions.
