JOB TITLE: Laser Operator

REPORTS TO: Laser Lab Manager

PAY STATUS: Hourly – $16/Hr.

HOURS: 8 AM – 4:30 PM. M-F

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Receives and reviews incoming orders.
• Performs custom and production laser engraving operations on law enforcement and military gear while maintaining a high quality of work.
• Performs general laser lab duties including flashlight inspections and packaging.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Process prescribed laser artwork as desired by customer.
• Laser engraves, packs, and prepares order for shipment.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

• General math, General computer, manufacturing.

ABILITY TO:

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions, work independently and in a team, be creative, pay attention to detail, work under pressure, able to meet deadlines, strong communication skills, willingness to learn.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma, design software knowledge desired but not mandatory.
