Lathe Set-Up Operator – 1st Shift
Location: Hartford, WI
Pay: $18–$26/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM

We’re looking for an experienced Lathe Set-Up Operator to join a precision manufacturing team. If you have experience setting up and operating CNC and manual lathes, enjoy working from blueprints, and are committed to producing quality parts, we’d like to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes to produce precision-machined components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machine setups.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment to verify specifications.
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition.
- Follow lean manufacturing practices while maintaining a safe and organized work area.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of lathe setup experience.
- Experience with CNC and/or manual lathes.
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong work ethic.
