Layout Welder – 1st Shift
Location: Hartford, WI
Pay: $22–$28/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM

We’re looking for an experienced Layout Welder to join a growing metal fabrication team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder who can independently lay out, fit, and weld complex fabrications while maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision.
What You’ll Do
- Lay out, fit, and weld complex metal fabrications according to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding with a strong focus on accuracy, fit, and finish.
- Verify assemblies and inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Use precision measuring tools to confirm dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintain welding equipment and keep a safe, clean, and organized work area.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of layout and welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding.
- Strong blueprint reading and fabrication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Reliable work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
