IQ Resource Group is currently hiring a Machine Operator/Machinist in Elk River, Minnesota!
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm, and Friday, 6:00am–12:00pm (46 hours/week)
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience (may go higher for strong candidates)

About the Role:
We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on, precision work and wants to grow long-term in the machining field. This position will involve setting up, operating. Training is available for the right candidate who brings a solid foundation in CNC operation and quality inspection.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Set up and operate gearing machines (hobbing and shaping).
- Perform detailed quality checks using micrometers, calipers, height stands, vision systems, and shadow graphs.
- Follow production specs, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Learn and assist with programming using Fanuc controls.
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and efficiency on all production runs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience operating CNC machines and performing quality inspections (required).
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus.
- Experience setting up and performing program edits on CNC turning or milling machines is ideal.
- Gear machine experience (setup, operation, or programming) is a big plus but not required — training will be provided.
- Someone dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new skills in a long-term role.
- This position is not physically demanding; most parts are small and manageable.
