IQ Resource Group is seeking a Machine Operator – Metal Shear on 1st shift in Oshkosh, WI!
Location: Oshkosh, WI
Shift: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $17.00+/hour
We’re seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Machine Operator to operate metal shear equipment and produce high-quality parts while maintaining safety and production standards. Experience in manufacturing or fabrication is preferred, but candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do
- Operate metal shear equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and production schedules
- Verify material dimensions and specifications
- Measure finished parts using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools
- Set up and adjust equipment as needed
- Maintain production counts and documentation
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
- Keep your work area clean and organized
What We’re Looking For
- Manufacturing experience
- Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating metal shear equipment
- Experience with fabrication machinery
- Experience operating press brakes, saws, CNC equipment, or similar machines
- Previous metal fabrication experience
