IQ Resource Group is seeking a dependable Machine Operator AND Packer to join a growing manufacturing team in the Brooklyn Center, MN area!
Schedule: Packer: Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm and Machine Operator: Monday-Thursday 3:15pm-1:45am
Employment Type: Full-time Temp to Hire
Pay: Packer: $18.00 an hour and Machine Operator: $22.00 an hour!
The right candidate will operate and monitor a variety of production equipment, inspect finished products for quality, and prepare products for shipment. This is a hands-on position that offers training and the opportunity to learn multiple areas of the production process.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and monitor production equipment, which may include saws, grinders, laminators, molding presses, die-cutting presses, CNC equipment, and packaging machinery.
- Follow production drawings, work instructions, and specifications to ensure products are made correctly.
- Prepare finished products for shipment by counting, measuring, weighing, packing, labeling, and stacking materials.
- Inspect products throughout the production and packaging process to identify defects or quality concerns.
- Set up equipment and perform basic adjustments to maintain proper machine operation.
- Monitor equipment for issues and assist with troubleshooting when products do not meet specifications.
- Load materials and products into packaging and processing equipment.
- Complete production, packing, quality, and other required paperwork accurately.
Qualifications:
- Must have 1 year of Machine Operator experience or related Manufacturing experience.
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or general work experience preferred.
- Basic math and measuring skills, including working with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to inspect products and recognize quality issues.
- Ability to accurately complete production and quality records.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to read and write English.
