Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 an hour Based on experience
Job Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team. This position plays an important role in producing precision hydraulic parts that meet customer specifications while supporting safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and run manual lathes, CNC lathes, and vertical mills to produce parts to spec.
- Verify accuracy of parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and patterns to ensure quality output.
- Work with Fagor conversational controllers for CNC machining when needed.
- Handle basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting to keep equipment in good condition.
- Assist with inventory and materials handling, including unloading and organizing stock.
- Communicate with customers on specifications and project updates when required.
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and organized shop environment while supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a manual machinist in a manufacturing setting.
- Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to resolve machine issues.
- Knowledge of CNC programming; Fagor conversational controls preferred.
- Ability to accurately read and follow technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.
