Position: Material Handler
Location: Manawa, WI
Wage: 1st shift: $25.32 – $25.42
Work Hours:
- 2pm to 10pm Monday-Friday
- 9:45pm to 6am Sunday-Thursday
Job Overview: position involves operating various types of lift and warehouse equipment, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and finished goods in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, strong mathematical skills, and a focus on safety are essential traits for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate counter-balance lift equipment, turret trucks, pallet wrappers, weight scales, and battery-changing equipment.
- Uphold safety standards while working efficiently in a high-volume production setting.
- Utilize strong mathematical skills for precise material handling.
- Train in and use the warehouse management system, including operation of computers, scanners, and printers.
- Move, stack, and relocate raw materials and finished goods using forklift or Raymond equipment.
- Load and unload trailers with raw materials and finished products based on orders and requests.
- Accurately pick pallets and stage them for shipment or storage, ensuring correct product placement within the warehouse.
Requirements
- Must operate a forklift throughout the entirety of the shift.
- Computer literacy is required.
- Physical capacity to bend, climb, and stretch is essential.
- Proven experience following detailed instructions and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience as a material handler in a manufacturing environment.
