IQ Resource Group is hiring for a Material Runner in the Anoka/Ramsey area!
Shift: Monday–Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (Some on-call or overtime as needed)
Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour (Based on Experience)
The Material Runner supports field crews by delivering, picking up, and staging equipment and materials needed for water, fire, mold, and contents restoration projects. This role is essential to keeping projects running efficiently by ensuring technicians have the right equipment at the right time.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and pick up restoration equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA air scrubbers, extraction tools, and containment materials
- Transport materials between warehouse, job sites, and vendors
- Stage equipment and materials at job sites based on project needs
- Assist with loading, unloading, and basic equipment setup
- Track equipment movement and support inventory accuracy
- Communicate with Project Managers and Technicians regarding job requirements
- Ensure equipment is returned, cleaned, and properly stored
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and company vehicles
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, carry, and move 50+ lbs regularly
- Familiarity with restoration equipment preferred (training provided)
- Ability to work in emergency response environments
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Basic mechanical or equipment-handling experience a plus
