Position Overview

We are seeking a Member Service Representative to assist customers with their everyday financial needs while providing friendly, personalized service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in being part of a supportive team.
Previous banking or credit union experience is not required. The right candidate will receive training and have the opportunity to learn about financial products and services while developing valuable customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and other financial transactions.
- Open new accounts and explain available account options.
- Answer customer questions in person and over the phone.
- Learn financial products and services to help customers identify solutions that meet their needs.
- Balance a cash drawer and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Collaborate with team members to support daily operations.
- Protect confidential customer information and follow established policies and procedures.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:

- Be dependable, organized, and willing to learn.
- Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience:
- One year of customer service experience.
- One year of cash-handling experience.
Previous banking or credit union experience is not required. Training is available for the right candidate.
