IQ Resource Group is hiring for a 2nd shift Plate Saw Operator for a leading company in Blaine Minnesota! This position is Temp-To-Hire!
Location: Blaine, MN
Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm OT required as needed!
Compensation: $18.00-22.00/hr
Summary: Plate Saw Operators play a vital role in our plant operations by ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe order fulfillment for aluminum plate jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment
- Identifying correct inventory.
- Calculating correct quantity of plate needed to complete the job
- Finalizing the ticket in the ERP system.
- Restocking drops after each job.
- Securely packaging for safe shipment to customers.
- Organizing saw jobs by driver route for efficient loading of trucks.
- Inventory Optimization
- Keep the efficient flow of material in our plant
- Inventory Counts
- Accurately measure and count aluminum plate inventory.
- Occasionally load or unload incoming/outgoing materials.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Keep floors trash/garbage free at all times.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Need computer skills!
- Need strong math skills.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Must be able to read tape measures and micrometers.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Attention to detail!
- Lift up to 50 pounds
