Wage: $16.50/hr
Location: Neenah, WI
Hours: 6:30am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday
(Hours could vary)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Position is responsible for efficiently packaging products with the appropriate components.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Retrieve raw materials outlined by product matrix
- Retrieve finished product off the conveyor to product holder
- Package according to product matrix specifications which may include
- pper bags, labeling additional bagging with a sealer and boxing product
- Label finished product and place on a pallet
- Inspect raw materials and components and identify any noticeable defects, remove to nonconforming area, notify management of significant issues
- Notify maintenance immediately when defects are caused by sealing machine
- Adhere to and maintain all quality requirements and standards
- Must be willing to cross train and move within department
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work with others as part of a team
- Continuous walking, standing, bending and lifting required for 8 hours or longer
- Must be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds repetitively
- Must be able to conduct proper labeling
- Proper use of the sealing equipment
- Reporting accurate count at all times
- Basic reading and math skills
