Position: Production Helper
Hours: 5am-5pm M-TH, 5am-1pm Fri
Wage: $19.50 an hour
Location: Neenah, WI
Job Summary:
Seeking a dependable General Labor Helper to support machine operators in a manufacturing environment. This position involves assisting with machine operations, loading and moving materials, helping with setups and changeovers, inspecting products for quality, and keeping the production area running efficiently. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using basic hand tools, able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, and willing to learn how to operate multiple machines.
Responsibilities:
- Pack finished products into boxes and prepare them for shipment.
- Palletize finished products and maintain an organized work area.
- Feed materials into production machines.
- Assist machine operators with daily production needs.
- Learn basic machine functions, including changing tape and filling glue pots.
- Assist with resolving minor shrink or production issues.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
- Follow safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
- Learn additional machine operations and responsibilities as training is provided.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform repetitive work and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
