We’re looking for a 1st Shift Production Supervisor to lead operations in our Cudahy, WI facility. This is a great opportunity to bring your leadership skills to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: $50-60k/yr
Under the direction of the Plant Manager the Plant Supervisor will instill a production mindset throughout the plant, maintain the highest level of quality and exhibit the Company core values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise and coordinate work assignments of production employees and support staff
- Review and address substandard production efficiency rates
- Address performance and attendance concerns
- Identify training needs
- Identify opportunities for quality, technical and method improvements
- Responsible for disposition of nonconforming parts (notify employees, sorting & rework assignments)
- Maintain plant organization including 5S processes
- Write and conduct annual performance evaluations
- Strictly adhere to and ensure compliance with all safety, quality and company policies and advocates ISO system standards
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Train, oversee, troubleshoot and coordinate personnel
- Attend daily MRB meeting
- Prioritize jobs, staff and machines for maximum efficiency
- Verify requirements for job travelers
- Verify tools and materials utilized for accuracy
- Suggest method updates to improve processes, efficiencies and cycle times
- Be quality conscious and continuously seek quality improvements
- Ensure employee compliance with company, safety and quality policies and advocates ISO system standards
- Maintain accurate production and labor records
- Other duties as assigned

- High school diploma with 5+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes required
- Strong leadership, customer service, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills

- Maintain a clean, orderly and efficient work area
- Read, write and interpret documents and instructions in written, oral, blueprint, diagram and schedule form in English
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safety
- Regularly required to stand, sit, stoop, crouch and kneel
- Required to use hands to finger, handle, touch and feel tools, equipment and controls
- Vision requirements include (corrective or non) close range, distance, color, peripheral, depth and focus
