IQ Resource Group is hiring for a Production Supervisor in Sparta, Wisconsin!

Wage: $65,000–$73,000 annually + 10% yearly bonus
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am (A PM position): starts on an 8-hour shift and will transition into a 12-hour PM shift later on. Training will begin on 1st shift.
We’re looking for a Night Production Supervisor to lead our night shift team and keep production running safely, efficiently, and in line with all quality and customer expectations. This role is hands-on, people-focused, and key to maintaining smooth operations throughout the facility.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee nightly production and direct shift personnel to ensure all products meet schedule, volume, and quality expectations.
- Partner with Operators to organize raw materials, rework, and resources to maximize efficiency in the production process.
- Monitor physical characteristics of products hourly: checking specs, grits, flavor, density, mixability, and moisture to ensure everything meets quality standards.
- Implement and enforce safety and regulatory procedures to maintain a safe operating environment.
- Lead, train, and develop production team members. Set clear expectations and ensure the team understands SOPs, quality standards, safety, and job responsibilities.
- Communicate daily performance metrics and KPIs to the team.
- Maintain accurate inventory and ensure all shift reports are completed on time, including production, quality, and plant KPI documentation.
- Complete nightly production reporting and coordinate any required documentation with the Production Manager.
- Work with the Process Manager and Production Manager to review production data and drive improvements to equipment performance and output.
- Assist in planning weekly and monthly production schedules and staffing based on business needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility at all times.
- Coordinate with Maintenance on equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure full compliance with all company, state, and federal safety and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with period-end and year-end inventory counts.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience; dairy processing background preferred.
- Strong communicator with solid people skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities during fast-paced production cycles.
- Comfortable with computer systems and general software applications.
- Prior experience supervising production staff.
