IQ Resource Group – Oshkosh is seeking a motivated and determined individual for a Quality Inspector position in Omro, WI on 1st shift! This position is contract-to-hire, and we are looking for a serious candidate who is interested in a long-term, permanent position.
Job Description:
- Perform first piece, in-process and final product inspection using calipers, tape measures and other measurement devices as needed.
- Document inspection results.
- Ensure the Bills of Lading and materials/parts match and perform visual inspections on those.
- Provide feedback to assist with quality improvements.
Wage: $22 to $25/hr (based on experience)
Shift:1st shift 6am-2:30pm Mon-Fri (OT would be on Saturday’s if needed but rare)
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will have experience within manufacturing or fabrication, along with an eye for detail.
- Prior experience using a caliper is a plus.
- Basic understanding of blueprints.
- Must also have basic computer skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail and a teamwork mentality.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and move about the production area throughout the shift.
- Occasional lifting of components (25 to 30 lbs. for the most part, occasionally up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be comfortable working in warm environment in the summer months.
