IQ Resource Group is currently seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join a great Fond Du Lac company. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that the products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves conducting quality inspections, performing audits, and utilizing precision measuring instruments to maintain compliance with industry standards. The Quality Technician will work closely with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective quality management practices. This is a 1st shift opportunity starting at $20-$25 an hour based on experience.
Location: Fond du Lac, WI
Wage: $20-25/hour based on experience
Hours: 1st shift
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular quality audits to assess compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality and performance.
- Perform quality inspections using calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
- Collaborate with fabrication teams to identify potential quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and quality control measures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality management systems.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality control processes and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality control or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality audits, data collection methods, and analysis techniques.
- Proficient in using calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
