This position is primarily responsible for supervising all welding operations. This would include supervising the entire process from start to finish, scheduling coordination, input and output.
Pay: $22-24+/hr depending on experience
Location: Dodge Center, MN
Hours: Days are M-Th 6:30am-5pm with some Friday OT as needed.
Essential Duties:
- Supervise the operations of welding equipment
- Understand the assembly process and how to weld various metal parts together
- Communicate results and concerns for decision-making criteria
- Support normal daily production and manage overall staffing in the welding department
- Manage and order all consumables
- Prioritize and manage workload effectively
- Identify and analyze subjective and objective data to identify problems and make suggestions related to overall proper specification of process
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a welder required
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
- Must be able to understand production quality and outflow impacts, and able to judge the product quality level
- Attention to detail
- Have examples of past leadership roles
