Wage: $43,000 to $52,000 starting
Hours: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday,
Summary:
The inside sales representative is responsible for managing and developing relationships with key clients or accounts as well as generating new sales for the company. Their main role involves understanding client needs, coordinating orders, ensuring customer satisfaction, and often acting as a liaison between the client and internal teams such as sales, production, and logistics. They may also be involved in identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products, resolving issues, and maintaining long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and client loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, developing, and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their promotional product needs and business goals, offering tailored solutions that align with their objectives.
- Oversee the end-to-end process of client orders, from initial inquiry to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Research products with suppliers and sales representatives and manage orders for existing accounts.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional products or services that could benefit the client, increasing overall account value.
- Communicate artwork specifications to graphic artists utilizing standard form and review completed proofs for quality and accuracy
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to offer clients the most relevant and innovative solutions.
- Perform general administrative activities including, but not limited to answering emails, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account progress in the CRM system.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure the success of the team and the organization
Requirements
- Experience with MS Suite, ASI ProfitMaker and/or Netsuite preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in account management or sales
- Strong active listening skills
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma
