Job Summary
The Customer Shipping Admin plays a key role in supporting daily shipping operations by
managing documentation, tracking orders, and coordinating communication across
departments to ensure shipments are processed accurately and on schedule in a fastpaced
warehouse environment.
Description of Essential Functions
- Support day-to-day administrative functions within the Customer Shipping
department to ensure orders are processed, documented, and shipped accurately
and on schedule - Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, reports, and system updates related
to outgoing orders - Communicate shipment status, delivery timelines, and order updates with internal
departments and external partners as needed - Monitor order flow and assist in prioritizing shipments to help meet deadlines and
customer expectations - Maintain accurate data entry within inventory and shipping systems, ensuring all
information is up to data - Assist with tracking and reporting key shipping metrics and operational data
Qualifications Required:
- Experience with inventory systems, data entry, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across
departments - High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with data and reporting information accurately
Preferred:
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or shipping administrative experience
