Location: Neenah, WI
Wage: $17hr
Hours: 6:30am to 4:30pm Monday-Thursday/Friday 6am to 3:30pm (Hours vary, must be flexible)
*Possible overtime on Saturdays during busy season.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the laying material on a cutting table and cutting to desired configuration in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner. Move to other areas when assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Use product matrix to determine raw material and size requirements
• Identify and transport raw materials from storage area to production areas
• Position single and multiple layers of material on cutting table, spread to desired length, and cut from roll
• Using template, mark top cover with length, width, and all other required notches and corners
• Using power knife or blade, cut single or multiple layers at one time to size
• Identify noticeable issues in the fabric, such as splices, that would impact production
• Maintain an accurate count of pieces cut each day and total on the sheet
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of production areas
• Adhere to and maintain all quality requirements and standards
• Notify maintenance when machinery breaks down
• Management reserves the right to add or modify the duties and/or responsibilities of the operation
• Must be willing to cross train and move within department to maintain production

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to work with others as part of a team
• Continuous walking, standing, bending, and lifting required for 8 hours or longer
• Must be able to lift 50 to 70 pounds and have manual dexterity and strength to use all cutting equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
• Basic decision making and problem-solving skills required
• Basic reading and math skills required

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent
