IQ Resource Group is hiring TIG Welders/Fabricators in the Neenah, WI area!
Pay: $23.00 – $34.00+/hour
Shift Differential: +$4.00/hour for 2nd shift
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 6:00am – 4:30pm (Monday – Thursday)
- 2nd Shift: 4:00pm – 2:00am (Monday – Thursday) Higher priority is 2nd shift.
Position Overview:
The TIG Welder/Fabricator is responsible for performing high-quality TIG welds on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals. This role also includes fabricating and assembling parts by measuring, cutting, grinding, and shaping materials using a variety of tools and equipment.
Position Summary:
- Experience TIG welding stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals to produce strong, clean, and aesthetically pleasing welds
- Ability to “walk the cup” and familiarity with hard automation such as plasma weld-around
- Fabricate and assemble components by measuring, cutting, grinding, and shaping materials using various tools
- Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, layouts, and work instructions
- Follow quality assurance procedures and processes to ensure product standards are met
- Meet and maintain performance expectations including productivity, efficiency, and time management while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and regulations
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed
- Other duties may be assigned to support business and shop needs
Qualifications:
- Prior on-the-job TIG welding experience required
- Ability to “walk the cup”
- Experience working with hard automation (plasma weld-around preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layouts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good verbal and written communication skills
