We are looking for an experienced Tool Crib Coordinator to play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong CNC machining background who understands the importance of having the right tooling, equipment, and supplies available when production needs them.
You’ll be responsible for managing tooling and inventory, supporting machinists and operators, and helping ensure production stays on schedule. If you have hands-on CNC experience and enjoy keeping things organized, solving problems, and being the person others can rely on to find the right tool or resource, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Shift: 1st 6am to 4pm (M-Thur)
Pay: $28.00–$33.00/hour based on experience
Location: Weyauwega, WI
Essential Job Functions
- Issue, receive, track tooling, cutting tools, work holding components, and shop supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts.
- Organize and maintain the tool crib in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.
- Inspect returned tools and coordinate repair, replacement, or reconditioning as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment requirements.
- Support purchasing activities by identifying tooling and supply requirements.
- Maintain tool presetting, identification, and storage systems.
- Assist machinists, operators, and engineers in locating tooling and manufacturing resources.
- Follow Quality Management System procedures and inventory control processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction.
- Provide excellent internal customer service to production and support departments.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of inventory control, tooling, or tool crib experience preferred.
- Advanced understanding of CNC machining tooling.
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings and tooling specifications.
- Experience with inventory management systems and ERP/MRP (Netsuite) software preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
