Job Overview
The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order processing. This role is responsible for the accurate and efficient movement of product while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Job Duties
- Move product and freight safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
- Pick, stage, and release orders to support timely shipments
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments
- Verify inbound and outbound trailer seals to ensure product security
- Assign dock doors based on product location and shipping needs
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, including cycle counts
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and system issues
- Ensure First-In, First-Out (FIFO) processes are followed
- Complete and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements / Qualifications
- 1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred
- Experience in food or distribution environments is a plus
- Familiarity with inventory systems and Microsoft Office (SAP experience preferred)
- Knowledge of material handling equipment such as forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory and shipments
- Reliable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
