We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse & Inventory Specialist to help manage inventory, shipping and receiving, and material movement throughout the facility. This is a hands-on warehouse role that combines inventory control with forklift operation and general material handling. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with computers and inventory systems, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Shift:
- 1st shift is 7am to 3pm
- Overtime: May be required to work occasional overtime (a longer day and/or Saturday) to support the production schedule. Inventory counts may also require working over the weekend.
Location: Neenah, WI
Wage: $20 to $25/hr
What You’ll Do
- Perform daily cycle counts, routine audits, and physical inventory reconciliations
- Track and maintain accurate inventory records
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including lost, damaged, or mismatched stock
- Enter and update inventory information using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems
- Inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities, and match materials to bills of lading
- Receive and unload raw materials and ensure items are free from damage
- Sign for incoming deliveries and route packing slips and receiving paperwork for processing
- Stock and issue materials as needed
- Operate a forklift to transport raw materials, finished goods, and scrap throughout the facility
- Track material usage and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Build skids for finished goods and transport materials to and from production lines
- Remove finished goods from production lines, shrink wrap skids, and record finished product weights
- Transport scrap containers to production lines
- Break down and properly store raw material packaging
- Prepare inventory reports and maintain accurate inventory balances
- Complete bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventory activities
- Assemble spools and packaging using hand tools such as glue guns and staple guns
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Remove cardboard and other debris and transport it to designated storage or disposal areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1–3 years of logistics, stockroom, warehouse, or inventory experience
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with barcode scanners, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to accurately track inventory and resolve discrepancies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift certification/license required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move 30–50 pounds
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse and manufacturing environment
