Location: West Metro, MN
Schedule: 8-5 M-F
Compensation: $18-22
Our Client is looking for Apprentice Carpenters to perform a variety of tasks in their shop located in the west metro! No experience required, paid training, work is steady and year-round. Working atmosphere is fast paced and energetic! Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operation of hand and power tools
• Precise measuring and cutting of millwork
• Operation of saws, drills and other power equipment in safe effective manner
• Construction of walls, trusses, panels and more
• Sanding and finishing of millwork
• Follow instructions via blueprints and other related plans
• Site clean up
Qualifications
• Reliable transportation daily to shop
• Ability to stand for ten hours a day and perform physical requirements, such as lifting 50 + pounds at a time and operating hand and power tools
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screening
• Bilingual preferred
